The Starting Five dropped their mixtape earlier this year and this track probably stood out the most of any. It was probably everyone's favorite. Curtis Williams did his thing on the production of this track. Kreemo swagged these visuals out and combined the great artistry and music with some ill cinematography. The Starting Five consists of Pilot Music x Retro Su$h! x FKB members. Ill ass video check it out. Shoutsout to our Pilot Music. Retro Su$h! x FKB x Kreemo fam.

In this video, a talented group of producers, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League (who produced for many artists including Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, and Young Jeezy) talk about working with Ross on Teflon Don and they also break down Aston Martin Music. They are also the creators of Rick Ross's classic song series "Maybach Music". Very interesting video. Enjoy.

By far one of the three female musicians I follow passionately, and is climbing the totem pole rapidly. La Roux was scheduled for a show at the Variety Playhouse during the summer, but had to cancel due to a cause of Bronchitis. Nevertheless, She & her band return to Atlanta this friday at the famed Tabernacle. With Bullet Proof catching heat on American radio waves, I hope many come out to discover her other great records.

We caught up with Casey Veggies a few weeks ago at the A3C. Straight out of LA he's been around for a minute, but he's has always been slept on. How could he not be noticed for so long?

Felt like Wale started a uplifting movement with his poem, and it was cool seeing females do that. Just me continuing where he started. Enjoy.

Taharqa, the great Nubian King of Egypt and Sudan in all his glory.
Piankhi The Nubian, the founder of the 25th dynasty of Egypt who ruled Egypt from the of Napata, located deep in Nubia, now Sudan. The Lord of Two Lands accomplished many great feats in his 35 years of reign. Buried in an Egyptian-styled Pyramid, something that was not done in the past 500 years, this showed the depth of his rule. Erased from the books of history for millennia's, there lays only one evidence of his existence on statues.. one that only shows his feet. We are left with the detail that his skin was of black color. During the 25th dynasty, the Nubian pharaohs brought reunification to Egypt that was torn during the time.

A while ago, I did a speech about how aspiring music artists can be successful without a record deal. I talked about how there are so many tools available for an artist to be successful without signing your life away to a record label. Jay-Z's top producer, Young Guru talks about how major record companies enslave their artists to sell records. Could record labels be obsolete in the future? Watch this video.
