Domo.Genesis: Rolling Papers [Noctum Review]

I swear last year they ain’t known about Domo bro. Now they all lined up for the Domo Show.”-Domo Genesis (via Drunk)

Classics mixtapes haven’t really been coming that often nowadays, and most mixtapes are hyped up just for them to suck (i.e Finally Famous 3) but I recognize a classic when one is before me. This Chicago born M.C. by the way of Los Angeles, California has been doing his thing with Odd Future for a while and all the most of his raps have been features on some of Tyler the Creators work and other OF Compilations, I have been a fan and now that his time has come to debut his solo work, I expected it to be great and it was. He has the pilot like weed rap for but way more versatile, and outstanding. Rolling Papers includes features and production from Tyler, and Hodgy Beats , and production from OF Producer Left Brain. The Fader magazine has recognized his capabilities and have done a piece on him. I think if you can make it into a magazine such as The Fader and not be signed to a major label or at all you’re doing your thing. He’s got my vote with this 100 percent, I support Domo Genesis’ music he really loves his craft and great product is created from it. I give this a 5 out of 5. Some of the tracks with the most plays in my itunes include: Kickin’ It, Domier, Supermarket, and Clear Eyes. It won’t be long until they’re your favorites. Dope Ass Beats and Raw ass Raps, Domo Genesis didn’t upset with this Salutes to the big homie!
