If you’ve had lust go wrong, and love go right, all while smoking out with Vietnamese girls and listening to Let It Be (The Replacements, not The Beatles), then you just might know what Fat Tony’s new album RABDARGAB is all about. Oh, plus 400 DEGREES KELVIN TORPEDO FIRE RAPPING and lots of it.
Texas-bred Fat Tony ascends the rich & ripe Houston underground to lead a brave new generation of Southern rappers, with the Tuesday, October 19 release of his earth shattering, woman embracing debut full-length album RABDARGAB. A three-time winner of the Houston Press Music Awards’ Best Underground Hip Hop award (2008, 2009, 2010) and URB magazine Next 1000 alumni, Fat Tony brings a wealth of unique perspective as a first generation Nigerian-American raised in the South and overall live dude. But quite frankly, all frills talk aside, goddamn he can rap! And Goddamn these beats are like smoking 3 blunts, drinking a 4 of lean, popping some adderall and then going to the hood skating rink for Tasha’s sweet 16 in the year 2222. The LP features appearances by Murs, Negashi Armada (Ex-Supreeme), Tom Cruz (Ex-Supreeme), Kam Franklin, Charly East, and Bo. P.
RABDARGAB chronicles the life of a rap obsessed former adolescent being wasted and stranded in the pursuit of life, love, & money (happiness).
The sonically dense album is entirely produced by Tom Cruz, who has produced and written for artists including Supreeme, Cen'C Love, and Murs. The photography for the project was done by NOCTUM's own Clyde Ellington Grant II, for his creative marketing company, image.in. Graphic artwork was done by artist Darek Garcia.

LISDARGAB
RABDARGAB is a reference to Fat Tony's childhood in the Houston Indepedent School District. The term was a campaign to promote literacy in school by offering little bad ass kids money. The term originally stood for Read a Book, Do a Report, Get a Buck. In honor of little kids getting money worldwide, Fat Tony introduces LISDARGAB.
