The obsession with Kanye's label GOOD Music is something that has grown to,well..for a lack of better words.. annoy the shit out of me. In the world that revolves around Kanye, it is very easy to get lost in the loop. In honesty, even we went around the track the first few weeks.




Just about everyone of us watched The GOOD music cypher, and agreed that it was the best one of this year..but that is not saying much for BET's lackluster of an award show. Everyone, and their mother is pulling "Whoa Dere's" currently.

Some may like this label just as they like all that Kanye does. Some may like it because of the star power that surrounds the label. I am going to go out on a limb right now, and shed my opinions on this label, don't kill me, just read, and give me a chance.

The whole creative suit that surrounds just about every artist on GOOD music feels very overstated. Doing things that the casual rap fan, very easily confused with hip-hop, gets confused. When talk of Kanye is associated with his music career, their opinion is biased by being shared with everything else that he does away from it. Tsk Tsk Kanye fans.  The best way to share my outlook on this can be stamped with a line from Kanye's big brother, "Cause you don't understand him, doesn't mean that he nice." The creative aspect of most of the artists on GOOD Music makes up for everything they may be missing individually.


I am confused on where the arrogance comes from. With a few having the stripes to match their mouth, it leaves me to the assumption that they have more bark than bite. Just as to me with this whole Kid Cudi, and Wale dilemma occurring. Wale runs laps around Kid Cudi lyrically..but Cudi is favored by most people because he is....creative? Don't start stomping your feet out of anger just yet.

Don't get me wrong, this is the shining star of rap label's currently, but just judge accordingly when you are giving out opinions on music. A rapper can be graded in at least 6 statistical categories.

Again.. Just my opinion, we all share our two cents once in a while.
